Himachal Itinerary
DAY 01: DELHI - SHIMLA (343 KMS / 07 HRS DRIVE)
Embark on a morning drive to Shimla, perched at 7,000 feet above sea level. The enchanting combination of cool mountain air, lush orchards, and colonial charm makes Shimla a dream getaway. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: SHIMLA
Begin your day with a sunrise trek along Mall Road to Jakhu Temple (approx. 1.5 kms). After breakfast, take a short drive (30 minutes) to Kufri, a beautiful locale surrounded by dense forests and snow-capped mountains. Here, you can relax amidst nature’s beauty, enjoy pony and yak rides, or visit the open zoo if you’re a wildlife enthusiast. In the evening, visit Christ Church on Mall Road, known for its stunning stained glass windows and built in the 1850s. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.
DAY 03: SHIMLA - MANALI (260 KMS / 08 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast, drive to Manali, known as the valley of Gods, blending natural splendor with rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to explore or relax. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 04: MANALI
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day tour of Naggar Castle and visit the Angoora farmhouse/shawl weaving factory. Later, enjoy a tour of Manali, visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, set amidst tranquil woods, Vashist Bath, a Tibetan Monastery, and Roerich Art Gallery. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Manali.
DAY 05: MANALI - ROHTANG PASS - MANALI (51 KMS)
After breakfast, enjoy a free day for personal activities or opt for a full-day tour of Rohtang Pass or up to the snow point. Experience the majestic mountains and glaciers, take a sledge ride down the slopes, and try climbing the small snow hills. On your return to Manali, stop at Rahalla Falls and Solang Valley to enjoy the magnificent views. In the evening, visit the Club House. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Please Note: Rohtang Pass is 51 kms away from Manali and is inaccessible for almost 8 months of the year due to snow. We typically visit the snow point on Rohtang road, permitted by the Border Security Force.
DAY 06: MANALI - CHANDIGARH (350 KMS / 10 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Chandigarh. En route, visit Kullu. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 07: CHANDIGARH - DELHI (240 KMS / 04 HRS DRIVE)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, check out and proceed for a sightseeing tour in Chandigarh, including the Secretariat, Assembly, High Court, Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Government Museum & Art Gallery, Punjab University Complex, International Doll Museum, and National Gallery of Portraits. After the sightseeing tour, depart for Delhi for your homeward journey
